What does this mean? This means you no longer have to have a Paypal Account to process payments. We now use the service 2Checkout.com which processes our Credit Card Transactions! Payment is totally secure and your info will not be shared with them or anyone else. You don't need to sign up with an account with them (unlike Paypal), just checkout in the shopping cart as usual and choose Credit Card as your payment option! It's just that simple! It's merely a payment gateway which allows us to accept Credit Cards fast and easy! I like to call it the difference between a Homemade Meal made from scratch and a TV Dinner.

Homemade/Scratch Theory: When a product is made from scratch, the quality is impeccable, when things are made in small batches, you are sure to get a fresh and well balanced product. Also, when things are homemade, don't they TASTE so much better and you KNOW that the homemade food is SO much better for you....Well that is Plush Pussycat Products, everything is made in small batches, with FRESH ingredients which are purchased from local farmers, small private companies and other places where we only get the BEST quality item. If we get an ingredient that does not fit our qualifications, we will NOT use it in our products! We pride ourselves here that our products not only smell, look and feel good, they WORK!

TV Dinner Theory: TV dinners and packaged foods you find in the stores are NOT good for you... why? Because they are mass produced with cheap ingredients that are bought in mass amounts, giant drums of fat, grease and who else knows what goes in the food that is mass produced. Same goes with our body products.... Just because they say "All Natural" is not always good, Beef Fat is "all natural" , Mineral Oil is "all natural" (and so terrible for you) even some poisons are "all natural" , all natural then does not always mean "all good"... If you are buying your body products at a Grocery Store, Pharmacy, National Bath and Body Chain (we could never sit and name them all now) or even a health food store... consider this, ANYTHING mass produced will be made in a factory, who works in these factories? Sometimes children, something to think about. Also, anything made in factories means LARGE quantities of chemicals and preservatives going in your products to make their shelf life last for years, this is fine if you want to hold on to your lotion for 10 years, but I usually use mine up in about 1 month :) also this is fine if you don't mind putting carcinogens on your skin. They are not harmful in small amounts, but in large amounts and over time they can be. last but not least, the ingredients are stored in giant drums, there is no possible way to control or even be picky with the ingredients because they are getting these from the cheapest source possible to make a large profit. What costs me $2.00 to make would cost them about a penny, this is where you see the difference why small batches and large batches differ so much.

So in a sense, anything made from scratch and homemade, is going to work SO much better and is much better FOR you, than say, something that is mass produced with large batches and cheap oils, chemicals and ingredients!

Plush Pussycat's skin products are all made by hand and in SMALL batches, it's up to you to decide which is better for you and your skin :)

The Plush Pussycat Story:

Turbinado Sugar Scrub: This is my own recipe I have been using for years, then I realized that big companies are selling what my family has been using for years (this was a Russian Secret!) for insane amounts of money.
I figured that I can offer my very effective and heavenly smelling scrub for a fraction of the price that these big companies are charging any where in the range of $35-$50 or more!! The INGREDIENTS are of the highest quality, with a mild preservative that is less than 1% of the entire formula!!! No harsh chemicals, my 12 yr. old daughter and I BOTH have sensitive skin and have used my product with absolutely no rashes or problems!! Nobody could copy this recipe because it really is a precise and balanced blend that took years to perfect!

After making the Scrub and realizing I had a knack for making products that helped so many people, I decided to get into more and the rest is history! Now there is soaps, lotions, and even more to come! Anything to make my customers feel like a Princess! or Queen if you like.

Recent Price Changes: The Story

Although I strive to keep my prices WAY below most products in the category of bath and body products, I recently had to increase my prices. The increase is only on a few products like the scrub and lotion. My company started out just for the love of making bath and body products and helping others with skin woes such as my own. Plush Pussycat nearly went under : ( The reason being is that I priced everything SO low, that I wasn't even keeping my head above water....Just to order supplies for more, I have to be able to make at least a small profit. I am a small home-based company and cannot buy supplies for these products in HUGE bulk (which would save ME tons of money) so I buy them as inexpensively as I can, without skimping on quality. I will pay more to get a better quality oil to ensure that my products will work WELL!

I was being told by many people of my trade that if I do not raise my prices, I would definitely go broke eventually. I winced at the thought of raising prices, but I must in order to be able to keep providing great products and a great service.
I even talked to a consultant and they agreed that I must raise my prices. I have somewhat followed a formula to price all of my items but STILL kept the price lower than what the formula suggests.

BEFORE sending anything back. You must contact me by email to set up the return process. I cannot be responsible for returned items that may get lost in the mail system. Contacting me will ensure a smoother return transaction. I can refund the original shipping cost, but CANNOT refund you for shipping cost to send the returns back to Plush Pussycat. If you are returning one item from a multiple order, I can refund shipping only for the shipping equivalent of the one item being returned.
